I'm Bishal, and this is just my story, as I can tell it.

I grew up in Sainamaina, Nepal. Since then I've trekked mountains, failed at businesses, learned to fly under a paraglider, cycled crazy distances, and spent more time alone thinking than I'd like to admit.

One day this might be all that's left of me. So I'm writing it for whoever's reading, and mostly for myself.

• 1997Born in dad's military camp in Imphal, India.
• 2001Moved to our home in Ghamaha Khola, Sainamaina. This is still home.
• 2013Finished school at Prabhat School. Stepped out into the real world.
• 2014Switched high schools - New Horizon, then Sungava where I actually finished. My parents bought a bike. Felt like I got wings. Started exploring places like crazy.
• 2015Launched my first business - a customizable jeans store in my hometown. Failed within 6 months. Learned a lot.
• 2016Joined a bachelor's program. Left after 2 days. First trek to Langtang. Started making money online.
• 2017Trekked Jumla-Rara Lake, Manang, Tilicho Lake. Something opened up. Started exploring seriously.
• 2018Made real money from home with just a laptop. First international trip - Thailand, for Affiliate World conference. Came back different.
• 2019Trekked Mardi Himal. Bought my first mountain bike. Rode everywhere - Kathmandu to Butwal, Pokhara to Manang, Butwal to Kathmandu, Pokhara to Butwal.
• 2020Covid. Moved to Patan. Lived alone for 3 years. Thinking, working remote, failing, getting back again.
• 2021Learned rock climbing, paragliding, slacklining. Got the idea to start my own outdoor brand, starting with an ultralight hammock.
• 2022Maldives and Dubai for Affiliate World. Kalinchowk. Advanced rock climbing in Bimalnagar and Manang. Rigged what became the world's highest highline above 4000m in Pisang. Tested the first hammock sample. Rigged highline in Bethanchowk with Saman Dai.
• 2023Launched yachu.co. Moved to a new apartment in Lalitpur. Adopted Blackie. Went to Singapore. Started making tent and product samples.
• 2024Went to India. Left online work completely - gave everything to Yachu. Trekked Makalu Barun Valley for 14 days.
• 2025Three weeks in Bali. Three weeks in China across multiple cities for business. Watched Rabindra Dhat Brave FC fight. Trekked to Panchpokhari.
• 2026Field Style expo in Japan with Yachu. My visa got rejected. My brother was already in Japan, so he led it without me. Went back to Langtang after 10 years, where my first trek was. Stayed almost 2 weeks at the outdoor fest and met amazing people. Upper Mustang on a bike. Working on the Yachu tent, chair and daypack.
